Superintendent

For our fall pipe vessels we are searching for a Superintendent.

Description
As Superintendent, you are responsible for the execution of our projects. You have a pivotal role and you know how to carry out the project effectively. You have daily contact with the Project Manager and Operations Manager and when necessary, with the customer. You are a real team player. In consultation with the Captain and the Party Chief you decide on a daily basis how the project should be executed. Safety and quality are of very high priority within Tideway. Being the ‘boss of the project’ you ensure that your team works safely. You’re a natural born leader and thanks to your enthusiasm you know how to motivate the project team members to achieve the best results.

Your profile

• Graduate and/or experienced with Civil Engineering / Dredging / Marine Education;
• Prepared to work abroad for prolonged periods (within Europe 4 on / 4 off, outside of Europe on 6 / 6 off);
• Given the international character of the organization, it is important that you have a good command of English;
• You have good communication skills and you are very inquisitive;
• You work well in teams, but you are the natural leader!

Our ideal candidate does not need to be trained. But Tideway also wants to give candidates the opportunity to specialize in our field.
